HyRetin: The Best Of Both Worlds

In the world of skincare ingredients, there are two names that always come up in the conversation: Retinol and Hyaluronic Acid. All of us have heard of them, but no matter how much it’s talked about these two superstars, there is still some confusion. When Lorde+Belle decided to create Repair Serum we used advanced and innovative technology to give our customers the benefits of Retinoids and Hyaluronic acid without the side effects. So, what is HyRetin and what about it makes it so great?

Skincare ingredient dictionary
Retinol is the most well-studied ingredient in skincare. It’s a derivate of Vitamin A that it is well known for its anti-aging and anti-acne effects. With this great power comes a great side effect such as irritation, redness, dryness and sun sensitivity. Hyaluronic Acid on the other hand is known for its amazing moisturizing and hydrating properties as well as diminishing fine lines, but when it’s not used properly, it can dry out your skin.

HyRetin: An Innovative Addition To Lorde + Belle's Repair Serum
HyRetin is a revolutionary ingredient that achieves the efficacy of Retinol while getting rid of its side effects by combining it with Hyaluronic Acid. Repair Serum is designed with Lorde+Belle’s signature HA3 technology, which utilizes a blend of low, medium, and high molecular weight hyaluronic acid to deliver hydration and other benefits in different layers of the skin. The Hyaluronic Acid used in the formation of HyRetin is obtained through the process of fermentation and counts as a postbiotic too, helping in skin’s microbioma balance. The Hyaluronic Acid used in the formation of HyRetin it’s actually a salt form of this ingredient, called Sodium Hyaluronate. This ingredient is more stable than Hyaluronic Acid and it’s more bioavailable for the skin and it has great ability to help skin retain a lot of moisture.

The other side of HyRetin chain is Vitamin A. The derivative of Vitamin A used in this compound is Retinoic Acid. How does it differ from Retinol? Simply put, Retinol on the skin has to go through a few conversion steps to transform into retinoic acid, which is the agent that binds into skin cells and offers all those amazing benefits. Using Retinoic Acid in the Repair Serum gets rid of all the conversion steps making this serum work faster and with maximum potency
and efficacy.

How does your skin benefit from HyRetin in Repair Serum?
In Vitro studies have shown are promising results. HyRetin has performed amazingly by increasing collagen and fibrin production, penetrating deeper in the skin and strongly decreasing expression of proinflammatory interleukins induced by UV radiation more efficiently than other retinoids on the market.

However, this was not the reason why Lorde+Belle decided to include HyRetin in Repair Serum. We always aim for strong clinical evidence for the efficacy of the ingredients we choose, that’s why we took a look at In Vivo studies, and the results were just as amazing as In Vitro.

2 in vivo clinical studies are made and the results show that all parameters from the subjective evaluation were rated better for the cream with HyRetin in comparison with placebo.

HyRetin has great anti-aging effect on the skin. Studies show that the daily application of HyRetin Cream can increase dermal density by 10%, it can improve skin elasticity by 34%, it can reduce wrinkles by 36% as well as improve skin texture and hydration contributing to glass looking skin.

In Vivo studies have shown that HyRetin has even visible anti-acne effects. In as less as 4-6 weeks, it can improve acne, soothe inflammation and redness and down regulate sebum production and pore size.

The Repair Serum contains unsurpassed ingredients in a synergistic formulation for next-generation skincare with maximum potency and efficacy featuring two powerful ingredients, HyRetin and HA3. A third party clinical study (Princeton Consumer Research) was conducted on a hide group of participants coming from different demographics and with different skin tones. The participants used Repair Serum on one half of the skin and on the other half they used Repair Serum in combination with RegenPen. You can read about the details of the study here, but in a nutshell, PCR observed the participant’s skin in three different ways and the results were amazing. On the half of the face where the Repair Serum was applied, study participants experienced: 149% increase in hydration, 43% reduction in appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, 63% reduction in the appearance of the dark spots and 40% reduction in the appearance of dark circles.

Let’s not forget to mention that 100% of participants felt more confident about their skin! So, after you read this articles, make sure you add the Repair Serum to the cart and get ready for young and smooth skin.
